Private to self.

Of course there's a reasonable explanation for recent events. There always is, and there always will be. Nothing is unexplainable. There's reasons for everything and sometimes I just don't want to look at them.

Like now. Of course, you just have to understand--the "reason" could be anything. Hogsmeade could have been wiped out by some sort of--well... Now that I'm trying to think of other things, only one comes up in my mind. Isn't that the way with these sorts of things?

It would make sense, really, especially with the happenings of my previous year here(Yes, the one where I tried to hex off my zits and ended up with no nose for a while), but it's just so much easier to pretend it's nothing, simply coincidence and it's all just a bad dream--'cept you can't wake up, and..blahblahblah.

I know not many people believe Harry Potter, or his stories, and that everyone seems to be flocking towards the Ministry for a nice, simple excuse. They seem to be good at handling situations like this.

...I just want to go home(or stay here), and sleep, and wake up, and have everything be okay. It's not going to be like that, though, and I'm well aware of it. My next (and last) year is probably going to be much more hellish than this one(even with Umbridge around). I'm worried, and I'm actually scared. Though, wouldn't you be? Many people are coming to the conclusion that the Dark Lord is back. I guess I could be one of them. It seems most probable, but... I just don't want to believe it just yet. I might know the cause of this...but that doesn't mean I have to say so, right?

...and I still have to find ways to get my sweets. It's a sad, cruel world we live in when someone goes so far as to destroy a town with so many people--..and so many sweets. ..even if it was an example of sorts--but I don't want to think like this, I don't want to believe it, and it's all so dreary that I fear I'm going to start crying.

O'course, I won't. 'm not some bloody second year.

...Hogsmeade? Gone? But--Honeydukes! Who could possibly be so terribly heartless as to destroy that wonderful little city with all its inhabitants and .... and the sweet shops. *Sniffles* And...! The Three Broomsticks!

I really don't want to believe it--how will I manage to get my sweets? I mean, there's only so long a girl can go without her sugar...!

I'm just...trying to think about what could have caused it. I'm well aware of the many things going around the castle halls, but I'm rather reluctant to believe anything, just yet. ...Poor Honeydukes.

Will have to find another way to get candy. Simply must.

I'm actually very interested in this...Muggle...contraption. Oh, sure, I have better things to do with my time, like try s'more ways to clear m'face up... but I think this might be an interesting way to spend some of my spare minutes.

From what I've heard, the Halloween Ball was just full of fun. Fun, fun for everyone. Except me, mind you. Too bad I missed it.As much as I'd miss my zits, I figure.

So... Here is Eloise. Here is Eloise procrastinating on some assignments. How very entertaining. I'm rather lacking things to write right now, so I will be back later, perhaps, with an update of some sort.
